McKinsey & Company is committed to nurturing the next generation of female leaders, recognising that your university experiences - from student organisations to community outreach - are where true impact begins.
The Women in Leadership Forum translates our globally recognised Centered Leadership research into an interactive experience, empowering you to lead authentically and boldly as you shape your future.

Program Schedule
The forum consists of three interactive sessions. Please note: applicants must be available to attend all three sessions to participate.
Session 1: Friday, 9 October 2026 | 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM AEDT (Virtual via Zoom)
Session 2: Friday, 16 October 2026 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM AEDT (Virtual via Zoom)
Session 3: Friday, 23 October 2026 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (In-person: Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Auckland, Perth)

This program is ideal for you if:
  • You identify as female and are currently studying at a university in Australia or New Zealand (all degree disciplines are welcome!)
  • You enjoy solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and challenging the status quo
  • You are eager to elevate your leadership skills to make a more meaningful impact in your community and future career

Ensure your application includes:
  • Your current CV (Please include your ATAR or equivalent, as well as your current university GPA/WAM)
  • Your official university transcripts

Over three interactive sessions, you will join a supportive community of peer leaders to explore the five pillars of McKinsey's Centered Leadership framework:

Meaning | Discover your core purpose, identify your personal strengths, and learn how to lead with intention.
Framing | Learn to shift your perspective, adopt a growth mindset, and navigate challenges with resilience.
Connecting | Build deep, trust-based relationships and cultivate a powerful, mutually supportive network.
Engaging | Find your authentic voice, step out of your comfort zone, and confidently seize new opportunities.
Energising | Understand your personal energy drivers and learn practical strategies to manage stress and recharge.
